They leave you a message to call. When you call, no one answers the phone. I was on hold for 30 minutes for the 2 times I called. No one ever answered the phone. Obviously the reason they needed me to call was not important.

I’ve been trying to find out how my bedridden 90yo mother can get someone to our home to give her the Covid shot, but to no avail. When I call the FDOH, I just get the runaround. They give me numbers that lead nowhere or they tell me to be patient. Mom has in home care, Visiting Physicians Assoc. and they say that they can only get vaccines by the 500 quantities from FDOH and they don’t need that many. So they’re wanting a smaller quantity, which they say they can’t get. Honestly I don’t know who’s right and who’s wrong in their information, all I know is that I’ve been trying to get the shot for her for as long as the vaccine has been out and because she can’t go anywhere, she can’t have any visitors so she’s been lonely. It’s heartbreaking. I don’t understand why Florida Department of Health here can’t have some kind of contingency plan for a situations like this. I gave 3 stars because I’ve never dealt with them before and i’m just giving the benefit of the doubt that in all other issues they’re doing OK.
