Popular walking area. Paved walking trails with plenty of shade. Playground. Restrooms. Pavilions.

Rest room was clean and accessible. Grounds well maintained. Comfortable space for family activities. The dog area was fenced and over head cover available.

Very nice park in Hillsboro with historical significance as well. The bridge is really cool and the park has a nice play area with a variety of things to play for all ages and a soccer field. There is also a "bee hotel" and a nice pollinator flower garden. There is also a section by the stream with quite a bit of bamboo trees.

Fantastic place for family and pups! Connected to the river walk that leads to downtown Hillsborough so that's a bonus.

I am looking to possibly relocate to Hillsborough and am wondering are there locations in the town where I can actually access the Eno River and get my feet wet? I am hoping to not be restricted to a board walk everytime I visit the river. Thanks!

The Eno can be accessed in several places. At the end of the Cameron Street access to the Riverwalk there is an old path that leads down to a waist deep swimming hole. Great place for little kids to swim just above an old ice Mill Dam. There's also access to a deeper swimming hole upriver from the end of the Riverwalk. People of all ages can be found there all summer long jumping off of rocks, swimming, and swinging from a rope swing.
