So I think I'll go buy this cart for $300 and my whole family can have fun for days... $28 for one race is rediculous...
Employee here! Adult karts are capable of going up to 45 mph, junior karts can go up to 35 mph (although most kids usually will not drive that fast). Speeds depend on the driver, so as long as you are driving well and following instructions you will be allowed to race at the fastest speed. Hope that helps!
Age is not the determining factor...All junior racers will need to be at least 48” (4') tall to race on track.
K1 has never had a Glendale location. I think you’re thinking of Phoenix Indoor Karting which closed down I think two years ago. That was on Greenway and 35th Ave., I think.
Our karts are all single-seater karts as they are racing karts. However, most 7-year-olds reach the height requirement (48” tall) for our junior karts! Junior and adult karts do not race together, you must be under 18 years old to race in a junior race.
22 per person but if you schedule a party they give you a better price
The best deal on the weekend is the K1 Speedpass. It includes 2 races, an annual membership and a K1 t-shirt for $55 per person (+ tax).
The more races you buy the less it cost so it pays to get a package the $75 package kitchen 5 races each race is about 14 laps or something like that it's worth it
My 11 yr old also rode with the adults.
