I hardly if ever post reviews but CAVA keeps getting worse. I used to love this place but they need new management. I ordered takeout for a lunchtime pickup. Arrived and pickup time and didn’t see my order. They were busy so I waited a few minutes and then checked on my order. The cashier told me they were out of falafel. Ok, guess it was a good thing I asked? I asked if they had other vegetarian options and they said roast vegetables. That was already a bummer but to add insult to injury: The order was wrong - missing toppings and added olives which I didn’t order The vegetables were charred to a black crisp except for the carrots which were somehow undercooked?? There was barely any rice and the overall portions were very small. And the sauces were barely half full! It was such a waste of time and money and a very disappointing lunch. The portions, quality, and service have significantly decreased since around the time they stopped giving full side pitas. Combined with todays disappointment, I think I’m done with CAVA.

For the longest time this has been my favorite place that’s why I’m giving a 3 star instead of a 1 or 2 star. This last visit was forgettable…. They were out of both grilled chicken and falafel and didn’t offer a pita with my grain bowl I normally order. I asked for one and was told “I can only give you one.” Which I wasn’t expecting anything more. Maybe just a rough night for staff. Like lots of other places prices have also gone up pretty significant. What used to be $21 for a dinner for 2 people it’s now $32 for that same meal my wife and I get.

Short Version: I have been disappointed by CAVA at this location too many times, and now they are a last resort at best and will no longer be earning my business. Full Version: This place has disappointed me time and time again. Most recently they started closing at 8PM unannounced, 2 hours earlier than what is posted on google and their app. They will often close 15-20 mins early for various reasons as well. They are often out of ingredients like the veggie mixes and sauces and they won’t inform you until you’re mostly done with the process of creating your dish. They are very stingy with the ingredients. They get visibly upset when they portion one meager scoop of rice and force you to ask for a little more just to have a regular portion. I shouldn’t be able to see the bottom of the bowl after the rice has been added… You could order a little bit of everything they have to offer and you’ll end up with a half full bowl costing upwards of $15.00, and if you ask for a little more they scoff or try to upcharge even though they are under portioning. This problem is especially bad when it is busy. Some of the employees can be friendly and helpful and do a great job, but for the most part it seems like they hire the rejects from other restaurants, people with no experience is good handling or customer service etc. and it shows. These people literally look like they have absolutely zero interest in being there and when it’s busy there’s always 3 people just standing there ignoring the long line of customers while 1-2 people work the service line and register. Management needs to step it up. Running a restaurant doesn’t take a genius, it just takes hard work and a motivated staff.

The cashier at the front was super friendly and helpful! (as well as the other staff members). I love their braised lamb with the arugula salad. It's a great place to eat vegetables and watch carbs. This place gets pretty busy but thankfully the wait is never too long!
