God choose this church for me. Thank the good Lord I obeyed him. What can I say? Where do I start?I have been so blessed since coming First of all our pastor is a man who with his lovely wife walk the walk. His preaching style is that of one of my former pastors, Lloyd Olgive. Lloyd left Hollywood Presbyterian to become the Chaplain of the US senate. The first time I heard Pastor Ted preach. I said to myself, that sounds like Lloyd Olgivie. The entire congregation made me feel welcome Wednesday night is Bible study. What a blessing that has been. Then I decided to go to the Wednesday. Bible study and got blessed that much more. I was in my late 20's when I attended Hollywood Presbyterian. New life id like Hollywood only smaller. If you want a church where the word of God is preached, those who come on a regular basis are do friendly. I have made many dear friends since coming about 2 and 1/2 years ago. Have been a member since last February thanks to good old Mr. Covid. New life has a phenomenal youth program. For children in elementary school age (fifth grade) or younger, AND if you fill out the bulletin after the benediction you can come to the kid's booth on the patio to exchange your filled out bulletin for some prizes. There will be volunteers at the booth who will stamp your bulletin and check to see you completed it, and there are various prizes for trying to complete it! How cool is that? It is New Life's hope that this will be a way for your child to stay engaged during the worship service, to be encouraged by. God's word, and to love God for what he has done for us in Christ more and more. New life provides an option for parents with children aged 3.5 (birthday on or before 3/1/2017) to attend Children's Church, and for children ages 2.5- 3.5 (birthday after 3/2/2017 to attend Toddler's Church. While we encourage our families to worship together, ee also provide , as an option for parents with kids of those ages. We also have a welcome booth I N. know many of the. dedicated and wonderful volunteers who teach. Your children are in good hands. Be assured all youth volunteer's have been screened with a criminal back ground check.
