Don’t call yourself an animal “hospital” if you’re only going to ignore patient needs. We understand there is only so much 1 place can handle in a day but not hard to offer a little advice or be personable. I called waited for 20 minutes on hold so I sent a message over the app. Wasn’t asking for an appointment, just some triaging as I live 50 miles away and had some questions. My 12 week old puppy just got shots Friday and is acting funny. I was totally ignored. Told to call Spokane (2 hours away) and lectured about not calling and messaging through the app that they recommend we use. I wasn’t trying to make myself more important than others but a little reassurance or advice would have been a nice rather than take her elsewhere. Super disappointed.

They did great. Fast, clean tumor removal, and a fair price. They provide medication for my cat all while being professional, helpful and empathetic to my best cat-bro, Apollo. Here is a cat cone picture for your enjoyment. He's not happy but he is healthy. I'd certainly recommend Praire Animal Hospital any time.

We've been coming here for years. Very nice staff, only issue is that vets come and go. Dr Morris was great so we will try to stick with the same one if possible. She performed a mass excision, healed perfectly and though basal cell, she was able to get clear margins... No further treatment necessary! Thankful.

Came to town for job contract but company failed to provide adequate housing for me and my travel companions. Karen, the kennel manager, and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful. They boarded my pups, got all the shots updated while boarded, and provided recommendations for longer term solution while I looked for housing. Karen is knowledgeable and obviously has extensive experience as she easily bonded with my problem child. She sent pictures and updates. The rest of the staff is friendly, helpful and professional. I highly recommend Prairie.

Prairie Animal Hospital doesn't do grooming.
Payment is due at the time of services. Unfortunately we don't do payment plans but do accept CareCredit and Scratchpay. We also offer Wellness Plans to help break up the cost of preventative care services.
It depends on how much your dog weighs and how much pain medication you're given for the dog. Call in and they can give you an estimate.
I'm not sure... I've never seen "exotic animals" being cared for at Prairie, but I've also never asked. Best option is to give them a call & ask your questions. :-)
No, you'll need to use the Emergency vet in Post Falls on New Year's Day.
Price by age or gender and weight. Call them for more info.
Don't know but it is worth every penny.
Maybe he's just tired of staring at you?
