Stereo Rehab is "the only place that will service my vintage audio gear." I've been taking my Dynaco SCA -35 (built in 1974) and a turntables there for routine service and cartridge upgrades since 2017. I've never met anyone as knowledgeable as Casper.

This is the only place you should go to have your audio equipment serviced. I drive 2 hours one way just to bring my equipment here. Why? Customer service. Stereo Rehab are not only experts at repairing your gear, they are experts at customer service. It’s all in the details. From the moment you walk in, you realize this place is special. It is a lounge environment with beautiful, restored vintage equipment displayed all around the room. When you drop off your equipment, you’ll go over the entire system with the technician as he explains all the issues he sees and what he will be repairing/replacing. He truly is thorough and a master at his craft. Once the work is finished you will receive a detailed list of everything done, have the opportunity to test your repaired equipment in the lounge, and a 1 year warranty on all the work completed. I am not exaggerating, this is the best customer experience I have had anywhere.

What an experience. After several attempts failing to revive a dead but much loved 30 year old NAD receiver I gave up and brought the unit here for a professional look, expecting to drop it off or be refused. An hour or so later it was fixed and sounding beautiful in the showroom. The best part? Standing by watching Casper's (or Kaspar's) walking through the process of diagnosing what was wrong and then quickly fixing the layers of problems encountered while pointing out where I went wrong. What a treat. Saved what would have taken me forever to figure out. The guy know's what he's doing and loves to show it off. Just put on your thick skin, and you will be rewarded. Highly recommend!

Good afternoon Beth. We buy no equipment being as we sell no equipment. There are some units that we purchase for display at the store though. We are strictly service. I hope that this is in someway helpful in your decision-making with regards to the equipment you speak of.
Afternoon Tom (and John Soroka). Drundig is not a valid brand, perhaps you were thinking of a Grundig? If so, that would be a chassis from a console, which we generally do not accept, however the store next door to us sells them. Might there be some confusion between the 2 stores? There is also no Cooper nor has there been. If you'd like, feel free to stop in when youre able. John Soroka- Your 500 is of course safe and sound, and has been on hold being as last we spoke you wanted to replace all the transistors that were not in need of replacing, all are fine. We discussed a re-cap which would be appropriate based on its age, just like we did on your Sansui power amp and pre-amp, though that would be about the extent of whats required to return it (the 500) to proper operation and it being a stable unit for daily on-going use. I apologise if you feel that we didnt reply, that was not the intent.
