Huge shout out to Devin and Paige at Cliff Hangers in Mooresville! I took my 2 sons there for a day of fun and rock climbing and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. They made sure my boys were properly secured at all times and very attentive to them. My 4 year old was nervous at first but once he saw the staff climbing up, he was determined to do it as well! I am a clean freak and I will say that this place is very well taken care of. My boys and I had a great time and we can’t wait to get back there.

What an exciting place! We are new to the area and we learned about it thanks to Groupon. I climbed with my 10 year old while my husband and 11 year old watched. They rather their feet on the ground. So much to do and the place is huge. There's even a slide! That was my favorite. Very clean and the staff is super helpful. Riley assisted us at the beginning and made sure we knew everything we needed to to be safe and have fun. Upon leaving we noticed there was a climbing area outside. How cool! We already can't wait to go back. Update: We've already been back 2 more times and love it more and more with each climb. Again I thank Groupon for the find and the great deals!

We have an approach team which is our beginner team for younger youth and we also offer private lessons!
Gym opens at 10am Mon-Sat, 12pm Sun. Check the website.
Your 12 year old can climb on a monthly pass. Day pass comes with harness I believe. Shoes are $5 more.
You don't need to have climbing shoes. But if you don't have them and you want them, you can rent them there.
They let anyone who is able to do it. My six year goes there. They have an area for kids. There are some sections where you need a trained person to help you but they go over it all the first time you go.
If it's just the child climbing the adult doesn't have to pay for a day pass, only if they are climbing as well and yes we allow strollers in the building
There are large sandbags that you can clip to your belay loop! Hope that helps you. I also want to let you know that the top rope anchors on the indoor walls have the ropes wrapped over the anchor twice, so the weight differences are not as severe due to the extra friction in place.
I don't think they would share that information. You could always call and ask. Worst they can say is no.
Cost is about $25 for basic admission, but admission is for entire day, come and go as much as you want, just jeep your receipt
