Its a problem when business charges based on reportable income. I know families working under the table and going there for free. So not only we bare the costs of non tax payers, but also choose to pay for their gym. There just needs to be a better system, so those truly in need get helped.

Literally the worst Y I have ever been to. The staff is too nonchalant about members. Any complaints or concerns are never taken seriously nor given any attention. Group swim lessons are the worst and total waste of money and time. High school girls are teaching kids swimming who giggle and waste time so 30 mins can pass by. Life guards are rude. Like I said there’s no concept of customer service.

We joined the YMCA for access to the basketball courts, but the courts are routinely closed for other activities like cardio dance and pickle ball. I have asked staff about the possibility of posting a weekly calendar of the basketball gym schedule on the TV monitor right outside court. If we can find another local indoor basketball court we will cancel the family membership.

The floor manager, STEFFINIE, should not be in management! She is so Rude, Condescending and very unprofessional. I asked her where I could find a long matt. For some reason this set her off. I could not believe the way she was talking to me. Her unprofessional response was rude and demeaning. And for some reason she started laughing, more like a loud cackle” in my face. What? As she walked away, I heard her say, “let’s see how long she’ll be a member” and laughed again! As I went down the stairs she said something and loud cackled again! She kept escalating this situation. UNPROFESSIONAL! I go to the Y to help my mental Heath and my chronic neck and back pain. My conversation with Steffinie left me with anxiety for days. I saw people looking over when she started laughing in my face. Steffinie either needs to be retrained as a manager, or not work with members. I’ve never ever been treated with such disrespect! Steffinie is not up to Y standards. I’ve been with Lowes Y since it open. My kids loved all the sports programs growing up and we made such lasting relationships. Its a shame that Steffinie has no respect for members feeling. I certainly hope you address this.

Cost is reasonable. Prices are sliding scale with discount for seniors.
It's on the Lowe's YMCA website. Search Mooresville Lowe's YMCA and search for the pricing
It varies based on household income. You can find the rates depending on what type of membership here: https://www.ymcacharlotte.org/membership/rates.aspx or come into the branch and any of their membership representatives would be happy to assist
