For the first half of 2022, I was able to put together my dream stereo system. Like other industries, there were significant supply chain issues in audio, so I had to work with multiple vendors, including Magnolia and Listen Up (ughhh... we won't go there). I had the amazing fortune of working with Jon Schulman, who helped me SIGNIFICANTLY... not only in obtaining some key components of the system, but in helping design its architecture. Music Direct / Jon helped in particular with the VPI Signature turntable, Shunyata Everest power conditioner + power cables, and Audioquest signal cables and speaker cables, and a few other things. The amazing thing is that MD has the capability to deal with esoteric audio like they do, but still do volume business at great prices. The system ended up as: McIntosh MX123 A/V PROCESSOR McIntosh C12000 Preamp Dual McIntosh MC611 Amps McIntosh MC255 Amp iFi - Pro iDSD Signature DAC NAD M50.2 Media Player B&W 801 D4 B&W HTM81 D4 center B&W 805 D4 rears REL Carbon Special Subwoofer REL Airship 5.8 gHz VPI - Signature 21 Turntable (Black) SONY XR83A90J OLED 4K HDR TV Shunyata Everest 8000 Power Conditioner

Music Direct (the owner of Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab) has been found out to be conning their audiophile customers for over 10 years using digital processing in their Mofi and (super expensive) One Step vinyl releases while claiming an all analog chain. Incredibly dishonest company. Shame on you guys!

Poor service. International buyer beware and don't lose your time with this store. Have my order cancelled with discriminatory shipping policy. Keep your product rotting in your shop for your perfect qualified customer.

i've been burned by this company before and against my better judgement, tried to order from them online and have once again had a terrible experience. Their customer service person was extremely rude when i asked a simple question, and have not shipped the items in a timely fashion as they described. They also take orders for items they know are not in stock, and have no re-release date, telling you "that you'll just have to wait". I would encourage you to avoid this business and spend your money elsewhere. Saying things like "Well, we've never lost a package, and you should get it eventually" is not the kind of response you get from a company that cares about their customers. Bad operations, for sure.

They sell phone preamps. Recommend calling them to discuss and order
Ask them they will acomodate
I might be interested in jazz. However, LP's need to be in mint or near mint state due to my use of a high end turntable and expensive cartridge.
