I was referred to Dr. Shane Pearce for my condition (which required surgery). The wait time was extremely long as there's a shortage of urologists and I heard another office recently closed down in Spokane which caused a higher influx of patients at this office. I will say it was worth the wait. It takes a lot for me to be impressed by a doctor but Dr. Pearce impressed me a hundred times over. He was thorough, made sure my questions were answered and gave me straightforward answers to all my questions and his bedside manner is out of this world. The wait would have made this a lower star review but the staff as well as my doctor made up for it. If I need anything further I will definitely spend the gas to come see you guys again.

I never leave reviews, but i just have to. The doctors and staff are great, but this office is absolutely awful. This office has so many patients that they are drowning. If you call you will average an hour on hold. After my surgery I had a huge concern and it took 7 days to return my call. Really really disappointed with how they mange their patients. Every day after surgery I spent hours on the phone, desperate for a phone call back, and nothing. I tried calling my primary doctor and even they couldn't get through. I am having complications and I can't even see a dr. This is NOT ok.

I hate to write bad reviews, but I can't let this one go. I have been trying to make an appointment as a new patient, and I just simply can't get through. I live 90 miles away, so I decided to go in person to make an appointment. The office did not seem very busy, and I walked right up to a person to get help. She would not allow me to make an appointment because I had not had my records transferred to them. I tried to explain my predicament to no avail. If you need an appointment go in person. As for me, I plan to go elsewhere. They may have good doctors here, but if this is an indication of how they run their practice I don't want any part of it.

My limited experience has been painful. 2 calls with 30 min. wait times on hold to even get to talk to someone, 2 times my virtual follow up appointment has been moved. I was charged $300 for a 5 min. call with the Dr. to discuss a lab result. When I questioned this, I was told that's just what it is since he had to make some notes. That seems excessive. I've tried to leave a message for a call back and got crickets. It's time to move on. I'm sure the Dr's here are great but the process isn't worth the trouble.

We are familiar with medullary sponge kidney, yes.

Are all surgeries currently on hold? I was told that in a voice message from Lisa and just wanted to be sure I heard that correctly.

You are correct, the most recent word we have received from Providence Health system is that everything elective is canceled until October 4, and only emergent cases are being done. This is true across all specialties including cardiac surgery.
