This store fails and has failed in so many ways I gave up shopping there myself, though it's close and convenient for my assistant btwn me doing my regular shopping at better managed stores. The bakery dept needs a seminar on the correct proofing of bread dough. Small, pale and pathetic (kinda like this store) kaiser&hoagie rolls rather than the delicious, golden brown full size rolls of the Hollywood or Interstate stores. Why is it so hard for Kroger to manage this beautiful store. The clueless, constantly changing staff more interested in their own comfort then customer service. The cacophony of banging cart wheels because they don't bother staffing the perimeter. The subpar prepared food. What a shame. This is worse than a winn-dixie in the late 80s.

Fred Meyer is doing a poor job serving its community by running skeleton crews, shutting down entrances/exits early, and closing important services early (8pm). What is the working class to do if work does not permit them to reach essential services before 8pm? Executives and managers ought to consider the choices they are making and how they are causing harm to people’s lives. Profit at the expense of others is not a good look. These services should at least be available until 9pm to serve the working class and families. And yes you might need to hire more employees or grant existing ones more hours. It’s no wonder this location just got through a huge labor dispute. Do a better job ya’ll; customers are not stupid.

This store in particular has really never had me feeling like I am a valuable customer or even person. They are so much up their own ying Yangs that they become naturally team catch a thief even though I have never stolen a thing in my life. And if I go in without makeup or looking put together...even worse. Close in Comparison to harassment because they actually watch you right away too when you leave. I think it's great to see you care about the shrinkage for the company and it's stockholders however note that it's also going to cause shrinkage in customer base even though I am one person. I have just told thousands

Huge grocery store in the city where you can get everything you need. The cashiers are always very helpful and friendly. You can save a lot if you sign up for a rewards card. One tip: DO NOT buy the cookies from the bakery… worst cookies I’ve ever had.

Some of the managers need that said customer service training as well. That's a pay it forward kind of deal, a manager that excells at customer service tend to lead the charge at having happy employees that pass the good attitude and customer service on the the customer. Lead by example.
Yes it does
My experience lately is most of the can recycling places are all closed at least in Oregon.
