Thanks to John in the deli for helping figure out my wife's favorite salad from a vague description. Typical New Seasons store, a bit overpriced, but niche items I can't find elsewhere. Thumbs up to the smoked mozz salad.

I dropped by for a quick shopping trip and was really pleased with John's assistance in the deli. He was friendly and helpful and made my impulsive dinner decision all the better. Not a bad location though parking can be a pain sometimes.

Mini story before my review: Did to know this New Seasons used to be an Amory drop off point for armored cars? We moved to the area back in 2004, and one of my previous jobs involved collecting all the change from the downtown Portland parking meters and driving it over to this former warehouse. Things have definitely changed! We are so thankful to have a New Seasons in our neighborhood! While the prices can be higher than Fred Meyer for some items, you're paying for higher quality and a more curated selection of options. We absolutely love the staff here, because they go out of their way to help with anything and everything. The selection of plant-based options continues to grow every time we visit, especially in the bakery. It's great to have options when it comes to cakes, cookies and breads. Their store-brand decaf french roast coffee is our go-to as well. Thanks for being our local grocery store!
