Like others have mentioned, the park is surrounded by homeless camps even on the sidewalks of a gorgeous street with multi million dollar homes. It’s a shame that the city isn’t doing more to help people. As such, it’s hard to find parking on the street that is safe and flat. Some areas have many hills so it’s not mobility friendly but there are paved areas, just very steep. Lots of runners, cyclists and dog walkers.

Wonderful park smack dab in the middle of SE Portland. A lake with ducks sits at the eastern edge of the park. Lots of trees and open space. Room for dogs to run, mini trails and several entry points around the park. Lots of on street parking around the park. Restrooms at the northern side in about the middle of the park. Homes around the edge of the park are unique and interesting.

-Set inside a very large park with a nice pond and scenery. Lots of paved trails leading this way and that. Lots of trees. Plenty of picnic tables and people sitting out in the grass areas and flying kites, etc. A large park. Be prepared to walk to the dog areas. -There is a map near the entrances that are helpful -NOT fenced, just a particular area of open grass set inside of the large park -There are certain areas and times that the areas are for dogs (see pic for date/times) -No water stations for doggos -Street parking only. Set in a residential area. -Trash cans spread throughout -Restrooms

This is a great park in the laurelhurst neighborhood. Have been here a few times for different tree climbing classes and events. Today was the ISA tree coming competition. Great chance for everyday people to get to witness some of the PNW's best climbing arborist show off their skills. While it's very east to vomplain about the lack I'd convenient park..and the surprising surplus of tents and shanties.. it's not the parks fault. The park itself is is a great place to walk the dog..play some Frisbee..perhaps some hackie sac if your cool enough. Go. Check it out..make it have that Portland feel we all miss so much. Today I saw an Osprey try it's hand in the lake located in the center of the park.. I also saw many passersby stop to see what the loud cheers and excitement was about with the climbing comp. Perhaps you will be as lucky when you visit.

We just had a picnic there couple days ago and it was a really cool park, we brought our own BBQ and there's plant tables!! Strongly recommend to go check out the lake/pawn on the other side!!😀✌
Yes a very nice one and I even saw a few guys fishing there. And if you don't want to fish there's a path around it and benches to just sit and reflect on your reflection...
The closest is Portland LOO.
Probably not recovered not that I could tell
There are tables and benches everywhere. A short walk is all you need from the bus stop.
Well an interesting question... I called ODFW and asked this very question... They said if it's a city park or county Park and it is not posted NO FISHING then you indeed may fish. I walked around every inch of that Park and read every sign they have... nowhere does it say no fishing.... So hmmmmm
You can park on the streets to the north or south side of park right off of caesar Chavez Blvd
