Rosati's Pizza

For the FIRST time EVER, either dining in, picking up or delivery, we had a horrible customer service experience with Rosati's last night. I called to place our order, because although it's extremely rare for Rosati's food to not be excellent, one of the managers had given us a credit for a pizza that we received last month that was not up to Rosati's standards (We had taken photos and offered to send them to him). He advised that we would need to call to order next time in order to use the credit.. So, I did. I ended up wishing that we had put the previous experience behind us, and tried to find a new favorite pizza place. When I called, I spoke with a girl named Jay (unsure of the spelling). The conversation began pleasantly. However, once I began to ask questions to clarify ANYTHING, she began to act perturbed. I was only trying to ensure that I was ordering the kind of pizza we like, and to make sure our order was correct. At one point, she must have thought I was on hold, and I heard her say the following things:, "She's complaining about the cost of the pizza." (I guarantee, the cost of a pizza wouldn't be an issue). And, "Oh my gosh!" When I tried to explain I was only trying to get the order correct, and that I was, "Sorry for bothering her.." She said that, since I changed my mind about something, she, "had to get a manager to help her." We ordered an extra large (large would have been fine), double dough (I now know we prefer their regular crust), Classic Combo pizza, an order of fried mushrooms, 6 regular wings and 6 BBQ wings. Their wings are fabulous. They are some of the best we have had. Although the food was good, the aggravation leading up to receiving it, and the awful way I was treated by the girl taking the order was bad. I would like to thank the manager, Tyler, who did his best to make right the issue we had with our previous order. And, to also thank the delivery driver; He was very nice.

We ordered a medium pizza with 24 wings and extra blue cheese. Zero blue cheese arrived. Wy wife called a politely told the receptionist what we were missing. She was promptly hung up on. I called back and the same woman said “it was only $5 worth of blue cheese, what do you want me to do? Do you want a credit for $5?” Sarcastically. I told her no, but I’d be leaving a Google review. Avoid this place. What’s sad is their food is pretty good, but their customer service is 3rd world terrible.

As close as you can get to real Chicago Pizza. I lived 35 years in Chicago and finally found a Chicago Pizza that originally was founded in Chicago. Great service, easy access and plenty of dining room, with a Chicago style Bar with NO video poker machines!If you want delicious real Chicago style experience, I recommend this Particular Rosati's 100%!
