I want to keep this short, Ask for another doctors opinion if you run into a similar expirence. I don't go to hospitals often, and when I have, I usually am treated well. Although they spoke nicely. The nurse didnt explan Much, and The young male doctor made me feel like I came in for no reason, saying thier quick test for strep could not be inaccurate,. That I had mild swelling..which my throat was in terrible condition, and I was scared. he didn't really try to diagnose it for anything else except covid. And told be the best he could do was give me pain killers. And told me if i have anymore trouble breathing to go to the er. I was there becuase I didn't want to to be admitted to the er for not breathing. I have have important obligations, that is i was was seeking care now, and not for later (fyi, the covid test came back negative on that the next day.) I mean there are many doctors and if I wasn't so sick, I could have asked for another to talk to. But in an urgent care I expect more from doctors when handling situations with patience. And not to make us feel stupid for coming in and to help us find a solution instead of sending us away. Yes, this was short, I took out my rant, and unnecessary descriptions.

Everyone was so nice and I didn't feel good, so I really appreciated everyone being so considerate and caring. Took awhile just because of precautions but I totally understand the importance of not spreading things to everyone.

I’ve been an established Chas patient for years now and since 2020 every month when it comes time for a refill, there is an issue. I came to the urgent care needing a refill to last me a week until my next appointment and although the wait time was quick, the pharmacy service was atrocious. The technicians billed my insurance for my prescriptions before explaining to me why they were shorting me. When I explained to them that I got a new prescription while I was in THEIR urgent care, they gave me the medication they wanted to give me and told me to figure it out on my side. I came back after being told they should have filled the new prescription as written and the pharmacy manager, Sarah, gives me a hard time for not calling my doctor and getting them to fix my previous prescription. I wanted them to reverse the prescription claims and send them to the Rite Aids I’ve had good luck with and Sarah tells me they don’t do that there. I’m a pharmacy technician myself and we do claim reversals all day long. When I asked for an clinic administrator I was given a grievance phone line where they told me their clinic doesn’t currently have a administrator. I spent x amount of time in their lobby and ended up crying over this incident when everyone continued to point their finger at someone else. Then Chas’ administrator line forwards my call to the pharmacy manager and it’s the same girl that had argued with me at the pharmacy. Finally, they give me the rest of the medication I need at no charge. This is exactly why I’m in the field I am and this level of care is embarrassing. I was the patient in this incident and I still had to make all the necessary phone calls to resolve this issue and I wouldn’t have known what to do without my work experience. This is not a controlled substance, it’s a antidepressant I’ve been on since 2019. People shouldn’t have to be hospitalized because of neglectful care and that’s exactly what has happened to me and I’m sure other patients under Chas’ care. Unfortunately the Chas pharmacy on Indiana is the same story.

Worst doctors office I’ve ever went to. They were quick to ignore the original reason I went in and were quick to try and diagnose me with something that is in no way possible I have. They made me feel terrible about myself. They gave me a shot they shouldn’t have without my test results coming back that resulted in the worst side effects. I went in for a uti. I’ve had one before I know the signs I just needed to go do a test get medication and I’d be happy and move on. For them to then try and diagnose me with stds which isn’t possible for me to have. To then diagnose me with a bladder infection and pid (pelvic inflammation disease) which they then wrongfully informed is cause by stds. They gave me a shot without cause and wouldn’t let me get out of it(they said it was mandatory when I don’t have what they say I do) the medications they gave me weren’t for treating any bladder infection or uti. Do better. Stop wrongfully diagnosing and making people feel like garbage. My time was veryyyyyy wasted. Shouldn’t just went to a hospital and waited there for hours. At least they treat me well and don’t waste my time! Not one of the diagnosis’ was right. All over a uti.
