Really nice well run clean State Park with a boat launch and RV camping. They have 50 amp hookups, water and electric. There is no sewer at the campsites but there is a dump station on the premises. You can have a beautiful Lake View right from your RV and there are also some small cabins that are rentable as well. There is a small sand beach and a cordoned off area for swimmers as well. We paid $40 a night so not too bad of a price. Hope this helps! Oh, did I mention the bass fishing? :-)

We love this place. Everyone we meet there are friendly and the park is generally pretty quiet. The Rangers and staff are courteous and friendly as well. My only complaint is that we arrived to check in at 12:30 and the person at the check in station said we couldn't check in until closer to 2 pm. 2 pm is the actual official check in time so I understand the rule, however we almost always check out of our campsites before 8am to get on the road early and most people we know do the same. The person at the station didn't even ask me my name or what site we were in and she stated our site was not available yet. I understand the rules and I'm actually a rule follower by default, but I just thought this was a little rigid. Not a deal breaker and we will come back.

Beautiful state park with cabins and RV sites. Many are waterfront. Electric and water sites with dump station nearby. Nice hiking paths. Wite sandy beach but rocky near the water.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Havasu State Park. The staff is very friendly and the sites are large, paved, and clean. Access to the beach is so close to all the sites so you will love that. The only thing I could ding is the bathrooms are a bit dated but it is a Park we would come back too. Great cell service and all the places you need are around you. Costco, Walmart, and multiple restaurants. London Bridge is only 2 miles away if that is your fancy. Cool place!

Do they have showers

Raven Bitchface | Jul 11, 2020

Yes, they're in the bathrooms (not in the cabins). Like legit 5 steps away from the toilet and maybe one or 2 from the sink. You have to hold the button to make the water work the whole time so that was a lil obnoxious.

Is there any free tent camping near by?

Yes, over the London bridge about 1 mile, you find some clear areas surrounding the lake on the right. It's a free camping area. Good luck!
