If you love to smoke Pot - Move Here!!!! Amy Sibley is a huge supporter of a person’s right to smoke pot even in “non smoking” buildings so if you want to smoke pot for hours on end right in the comfort of your apartment rent here!!!!!

The experience here has been absolutely horrible and I’ve only been here going on 3 1/2 months. I can’t even believe that I’ve been seeing reviews saying that they love the office staff. I have reached out to the office staff on multiple occasions with noise complaints and nothing has been done. They disregard what you tell them and tell you to call non emergency police. You can only call non emergency police if your neighbors are playing music during the designated quiet hours. If the complaint isn’t about loud music, it’s nothing Henrico can do and clearly it’s nothing the rental office can do. I regret moving here & wouldn’t recommend these apartments at all. If you have a newborn or toddler and decide to move on the lower level, just remember the rental office will make you feel like it’s okay for your neighbors to make loud banging noises/running anytime after midnight and they won’t even think about addressing the issue. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I lived here for two years and had an overall great experience. The apartments are roomy and a great deal for the (intro) price. It is really well located and very easy to hop on 64 without having to stop at a single light. The office staff were all very nice and helpful to us and maintenance always came very quickly- usually within the next 1-2 business days but we had multiple times where maintenance came that same day. The neighborhood and facilities are kept up really nicely. The only things I would say to be aware of were that in the summer, ants were definitely as issue. We bought ant traps and that helped a lot. We are pretty clean so as long as you don't leave food out, it's not so bad to deal with, but if you leave food out for any extended period, ants everywhere. They even attacked our cat's food. We would have stayed, but the only other thing is that rent does go up by a significant amount each year. For us it was around $100/month more each year. The second year we thought this was just because we had an "intro" rate the first year, but it was just as much when renewing for the third year and we decided to move. I understand this with inflation and property taxes increasing each year that it might be necessary, but while I loved the apartment and how much space there was, we couldn't justify paying that much more per month. Overall, I would definitely recommend Legacy at Mayland. Their customer service is top notch and you can't beat that in the price point.
