My loved one has stomach cancer. As a Lifelong Over 60 patient, he was denied a referral to UCSF for cancer treatment. Lifelong incorrectly wrote him up as having colon cancer! The Lifelong doctor saw him VIA ZOOM ONLY (after he received his cancer diagnosis via a report in the patient portal!), was inattentive and careless… and proceeded to totally bungle the oncology referral. (Thankfully, he and his family challenged the denial and he is now in treatment.) Earlier in the year, when he presented with symptoms, he had struggled to capture the interest and concern of the Lifelong Over 60 physician who “examined” him (also via Zoom). He had to persist quite forcefully before they would order diagnostic scans. Long story short, Lifelong Over 60 was no better than no provider at all. Their patient lost precious time getting treatment. AVOID!!

This is one of the worst medical facilities in the Bay Area. They DO NOT honor their mission statement. They are extremely rude to caregivers. They lie about the work they do. You cannot get an appointment when needed. They claim to do home visits but will cancel your appointment one hour before the doctor is due to arrive. They say they listen to the patients but when I requested a new doctor, REQUEST DENIED! When I said don’t send Dr. Pharma they sent her anyway! So if you want good medical care from a doctor who listens to patients and is genuinely concerned for your wellbeing, This is not the place to take your love one. PERIOD........
