Stuck in 2020, demanding vaccination cards, photo IDs and masks during the movie. Gestapo checks twice and also looks in your bag. They make it harder to see a matinee in Berkeley than fly to another city. Hope they get new management soon.

Great theater, friendly staff. Seats actually have comfortable amount of room for legs(important for tall guys like me) and good clean upholstery. The sound and picture quality were excellent. Bathrooms were a bit tight due to age of building. One toilet in men's room was out of service. Make sure to bring vaccination proof, since they were still requiring and checking for that. All in all, a nice old-world theater!

Right about now I would’ve spent $60 in tickets, popcorn, Cherry coke and candy. Happily watching Jurassic World Dominion but I forgot my vaccine card and even though I am triple vaxxed they wouldn’t let me in. The theater looked pretty empty anyway. So I’m sure they could’ve used my money. The Elmwood Theater is a treasure but they are shooting themselves in the foot with their mask, ID and vaccination card policy. The Elmwood Theater has struggled many times before and has always found support from the neighborhood. Well, when the next desperate cry help comes from Elmwood Theatre, count me out.

Nice little local theater with a variety of showings. Comfortable seats. Only little problem here, and other theaters as well, is that you can hear the loud sounds from the adjacent theater spaces.

Sorry, unsure about this movie as I was at this theater for another reason.
Average ticket price for older movies is $10, but I would call the theater first to find out the exact price.
