I signed my 5 yr old Son up for the kids Jui Jitsu class with Sensei Rick and he loved every part of the class. Rick is great with the children. everything is positively reinforced with high fives and praise. After the first class my Son told me he loved me like ten times because he was so happy that I signed him up for the class. Of all the sports and extra curriculars that my son has been involved with, the kids Jui Jitsu class taught by Sensei Rick is by far my Son's favorite. Brendan

I was the first person that Sensei Rick signed up when he first opened PMA Plaistow. I just signed up for my third year and love going to class. I have been studying many different forms of martial arts for over 40 years (yikes) and I enjoy training with Sensei/Professor Rick Hawn the most. I am learning Judo and BJJ. The classes are well designed and Professsor Rick creates an excellent training environment for everyone. The atmosphere at our dojo is very supportive for new students. All egos are left at the door on the way in. Everyone learns at their own pace and everyone helps each other improve their skills. We are a team. We train hard. You will sweat and you will feel muscles you didn't know you had. But you will grow healthier while learning self defense and you will accomplish your goals. Come join us and you will not be disappointed. I wish I had time to go to class everyday.

Both my kids have been attending Professional Martial Arts-Plaistow for the past year. We've moved several times, and experienced different dojos around New England. Both my kids are black-belts in karate, and all I can say is Professor Rick Hawn is the real deal. Southern NH is lucky to have a world class Martial Artist share his knowledge with the next generation. Not only is Professor Rick a Judo Olympian and professional MMA champion, he is an all around nice guy. He works really well with students of all ages. As one example of how he goes above and beyond, on his days off Professor Rick has attended my daughters wrestling matches "just because". We drive 45 minutes to attend the best martial arts academy in the area, and PMA is well worth the trip!

My 8 year old son has been going here for almost 2 years now. He studies Karate and JiuJitsu and loves them both! He stays very active and has been working hard on his focus. The classes are the perfect length of time and a great mix of learning and fun! Sensei Rick has been great from the beginning. I feel very lucky to have such a successful person sharing his knowledge with our son. Could not recommend this school more!
