The Flying Monkey has its pros and cons; The pros? It’s a small venue and even the seats in the back offer a good view. The cons definitely outweigh the pros, but you can still enjoy a show here under the right circumstances. First off, tickets are not cheap. While you can park for cheap in downtown Plymouth, the Monkey generally hosts 2nd tier acts at a premium. Most of the bands coming through Plymouth NH are older “classic rock” bands who can no longer sell out larger venues. This is not to say that they aren’t still capable of a great performance, just don’t expect your current favorite musical acts here. Expect to pay roughly $60-$75 per ticket, as of 2022. Sound is hit or miss, depending on who is at the sound board. Do yourself a favor and skip the overpriced and largely lousy food options here. More than once I’ve entered this establishment and been assailed by the smell of fish past it’s prime. This is a Common Man venue, and while ubiquitous in New Hampshire, not known for culinary excellence. Food is mediocre at best. Eat off premises at Beiderman’s or Thai Smile before the show. Both restaurants are very good. Also, pay close attention to the details of the show itself. Sometimes the venue is not clear as to the nature of the performance, and WILL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES offer a credit or refund if you are unsatisfied for any reason. Case in point, I recently purchased tickets for The Mark Farner Band, and was not informed until weeks after the purchase that the show was acoustic. There was no mention of this anywhere on the website, and I assumed we were going to an electric set. It was not until I received an email regarding upcoming shows that the Mark Farner concert was listed as an acoustic set. When I emailed the venue to inquire about this, I received a curt, smug email from Lexi, the Box Office Manager telling me that “promotional material has remained consistent since the show has been listed”. It had not. In fact there was zero mention of this until well after I brought this to her attention. I have the screen captures to prove it. Regardless, Lexi was steadfast in her stance against making this right, so expect no wiggle room should there be any issue with a performance. Some years ago we had tickets to see Robin Trower when there was a sudden power outage in Plymouth. Rather than rescheduling the show, they wound up finding generators to power the venue so that the show could go on. Unfortunately, those of us with reserved seats lost those as the venue couldn’t figured out how to seat people, and subsequently made the show general admission, regardless of the fact that some of us had paid more to sit up front. So, long story short, expect zero concessions should there be any issue. When the stars align just right, this place is ok. When they don’t, you are sh*t out of luck pal! No apologies.

Nobody until the Christmas with the Celts concert on the 17th.
Not sure, I would call!
No idea. You would need to call the venue.
You should probably contact the box office directly for that information.
His list of upcoming venues have both on November 24th
Too many for me to list...why are you asking about 2 years ago?
The Monkey is part of the Common Man group. They have a very nice inn about 5 minutes away from the Monkey. Not shure if they offer package in conjunction with the Monkey, but it never hurts to ask for a package deal... You might just get a discount.
Very good place, recommended 100%. The bad thing is that it has no parking. If you have an event I recommend that you come early to park the vehicle. Inside the store they sell beers, popcorn also has a menu with very good dishes.
