I got my hair ripped out after we were attacked at Dover Bowl. The entire police station came and they stood in a circle and chatted and did nothing. No record or report was ever written. They didn’t collect any evidence, take any photos or even our names. To protect and serve? Or to spend your tax $ giving you speeding tickets. Thankful to have moved out of their jurisdiction. New force and policies needed, make sure to vote!

I live in NC. My best friend lives in NH. I could not reach her so I called the Dover PD. The dispatcher and the responding officer were very kind and polite. The situation was resolved and ended well. Many kudos to the Dover PD!

Auditing Wales

Police got triggered AFTER harassing and refusing to leave. Also, they LOVE to record you, except they HATE being recorded. Double standards if you ask me.

My unoccupied vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run accident while parked on a Dover Street. Response was quick, but there wasn't much in the way of subsequent investigation. When I attempted to obtain a police report, I was told that there would be a $25 charge. Why are police reports behind a paywall? It's really scary to think that these police can limit access to public records in this way, and I hope that the citizens of Dover push to change this policy.
