Dover's public library is a great community resource. I've rediscovered in recent years shuttling my Mom, who's well in her 80's, there in the past few years. The library serves her purpose, providing her weekly book fix 😁, quite admirably. As she's aged she's moved to large print books which Dover's library has a growing collection. In previous years when I was visiting I would take advantage of their free Wifi as Mom house had none. This week whilst making our visit I noticed there's even a parking space on the front reserved for someone to sit in a car and surf the 'net. As for me I take advantage of their access to ebooks for my ebook reader. If you don't avail yourself to at least one of the Dover public library's many services you're missing out.

The library is such solace; limitless opportunities to discover books, ideas, and crafts. I enjoy using Libby, and am a committed member of the knitting group, LibKnits, twice each month.

Just went to the library with my friend who has an accent...she asked for a visitor's pass to access the internet and use a computer. The woman at the desk told her that the computers/internet were "out of order." (We had just been in the computer room off from the circulation desk to see what was required to access the internet. ) An elderly gentleman was in the room "surfing" the internet. I said there was someone on the computer in the room...to which she replied, "that's our technician." I'm no expert, but the man on the computer did not work there...in my opinion, and if he did, there was service, because he was actively looking up information. I believe they were merely trying to deter visitor's from using computers or something else? Not overly friendly or inviting, but a very nice library.

Quite nice library. You will find everything what you want. Two floors of books, DVD, music... Internet, spaces to read, study, 3D print, copy machine, drop boxes for books outside library. Kids section is fun. Programs for families and adults. Their website is decent, you can do almost everything through that.

You cannot renew here. That must be done online at travel.state.gov. We only take new 1st-time applications. The only exception is if your passport was issued more than 15 years ago; then we can have you apply here for a new one.
Most altases don't leave the building. We probably have something that fits your needs that can be borrowed. Call or stop in with specific needs.
