We visited Pendleton Woolen Mills and it was a great hit with the family. They sell blemished blankets at a discount which is a fine way to acquire a Pendleton wool blanket without breaking the bank. I bought a coffee mug and hat. My wife purchased the blanket and she was so pleased. I observed many people leaving who were super happy - one lady was even happy crying.

We stopped o. Our way home from our PNW road trip, purely because we knew my mother-in-law would get a kick out of it. She loves Pendleton! We walked through the store. Found a few fun things for my mom-in-law. The bathrooms were clean. The store was well organized and clean. There were no tour's happeing that day but we could see into the mill through glass doors. Was fun to see the wool and threads stacked up and a blanket being wooven. (I thinks thats what it was anyways.) The staff were friendly and helpful!

Stopped by for the seconds blankets. Got a beautiful blanket that I'm very excited about for a discount. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area and want a wool blanket since the discounted ones are still great quality. The one star missing was because, for a company that touts their American woolen mills, a lot of their products are made in China and it felt like false advertising.

Such a cute city with lots of shops and an interesting history. The underground tours are very informative. The Tamastslikt cultural institute, just outside of the main streets of Pendleton, gives you a different perspective on the indigenous Americans and how these last 200 years have affected them. I would also absolutely recommend stopping by the Pendleton woolen Mills for wonderfully crafted wool sweaters/ blankets.

In the mill store they have a bin of discounted remnant wool scraps that range from one yard to a few yards long. Last time I was there they no longer had bolts to buy by the yard in the store, only the remnant bin.
The last time I was there, I didn't notice anything like that. You might call them and ask if they might, or at least let you know where to buy them.
Masks & 6 ft. separation required inside businesses, just reopened again in last two weeks. (25% capacity most) Capacity fluctuates with positive COVID test % per capita. K-12 schools now mandated to reopen, phasing in over next 3 weeks.

They make new only, no repairs
I don't work there but their hours are: 8-6 M-F 9-6 Sat 10-5 Sun Hope this helps
They have a great store, you can get blankets etc that are flawed at great discounts.I can't remember if I noticed the yarn for sale? Check their web site
You'll want to call the store directly so they can update it to only send one.
Yes. Open 7 days a week actually
The tour was free and took about 20 minutes. Very interesting, glad I did it. Heads up, it involves some stairs.
