Do you guys actually recycle the plastics and cardboard people put in those trucks?? I'm very serious about recycling and reusing resources to save the earth. I've heard stories about most trash fields don't actually recycle them.

can i recycle a an older 19 inch television. do you charge anything to dispose of it.

Recycle? No. If it fits in a 42 gallon trash bag, it'll cost one trash sticker ($1 at nearby stores). If it doesn't fit, negotiate with the man in the booth at the dump. Alternatively, wait for the next Allegany County hazardous materials (and electronics!) collection day and it might be free to dispose of your E-waste

You would have to go up from the county recycling site to the scales and pay by the ton which I believe is $56 a ton right now. You will have to unload by hand unless you have a dump bed or trailer in that case you can drive all the way up top and dump.
Can tires be taken here and can the rims still be in the tire?

I don't work there but I think you can count on them being open if the Allegany County offices are open (i.e. not a holiday, no inclement weather)
