Nice apts but not well built. No trash pickup at your door. Rent is high for basic apartments. Nice showers and nice walking paths, but had multiple problems with my dishwasher which were never fixed. cabinets were falling off faucet leaking etc .. for one or two year old apartments might be some better options in Lewes

I moved into the Vineyards in August 2021 after I sold my house in MD. I didn't know anybody here, and found the staff very helpful and willing to work with me in this transition, allowing a move in the middle of the month. The complex is VERY QUIET and clean. The building has regular maintenance so that both the functioning and the overall aesthetics are predictably addressed. Once in a while, there were accidents in the common areas that were always attended to with QUICK clean-up and repair, if necessary. The staff take a lot of time in landscaping the grounds to keep it very well manicured and inviting during the spring, summer and fall. This complex allows dogs, and the staff does a nice job in screening on the front end to ensure that the residents have good control over their animals. The occasional barking that was heard outside when they went for their walks was a non-issue, brief, and very much in passing. I always felt it was nice to see people who were good to their animals, providing them with a nice home and good care. It added to a "cozy" feel in the complex. The management also provides fun activities around the holidays: a complementary visit from the ice cream truck marking the end of summer, Trick or Treat at Halloween, decorations contest during the Christmas season, and others. They go out of their way to provide a special feeling during the holidays, .....little perks along the way. I would definitely return here in the future if the need presented itself. I would have ZERO concerns or reservations - it was a wonderful place to live.

Moved here from New York in mid November 2021, so far my experience has been great. Apartment is roomy with lots of natural light. Everyone is helpful and friendly. Only negatives I have is traffic noise on Rte 9. My particular apartment could have used new living room carpet because when they painted they got a lot of paint on it in several places. And apartment could have used a 2nd coat of paint.

Nice place to live. Good amenities, nice grounds with pond, pet friendly with dog park and walking trails. Workout room in the club house with pool, public bbq's. Friendly and attentive staff. Nice community of courteous and friendly tenants
