Driver didn’t knock on my door! unloaded the piece of equipment on a gravel driveway and left with no signature. Call dispatch they refused to come pick up the pieces of equipment. Supposed to be for a dock pick up. Train your drivers better !!! This is completely ridiculous do you realize that pallet jacks do not roll on gravel driveways!!!!

I work for a general contractor in High Point NC. We had some flooring that came in wrong, and the flooring company scheduled XPO for picking it up from our residential job site. I spoke with the coordinator on the phone and told her exactly what we had, how big, how heavy, and the conditions of the site. They assured me that they could get it with a lift gate truck. The driver was actually very professional and tried his best to load the material. Unfortunately it was two wide to get over the lift gate with just a pallet jack (the 4 inch lip on the gate is more narrow than the trailer width). It would have fit on the truck if the lip wasn’t there or if we had a forklift. So he left without us being able to load the material. Due to the importance of the matter, I went ahead and scheduled a forklift to be dropped on site. When I called XPO to reschedule for pickup (which would have gone very smoothly with a forklift) they refused. This surprised me, so I simply said, “may I ask why?” At this the logistics coordinator was very unnecessarily snappy with me, saying “Sir I have given you my answer!” I told him thanks for the great customer service /s and hung up. Overall…my time was thoroughly wasted and I caught some completely unnecessary attitude. Thanks XPO! I’ll leave you guys alone in the future.

I have experienced numerous drivers throughout the years of being in business and I have to say that my experience today with your driver Davis was above and beyond. I have never experienced a driver that is so charismatic and up beat about what he is doing and the company he represents. His good attitude is contagious. I may not be in the logistics business, but I am in business in general and Davis is a perfect example of what any company would want representing their name/brand.
