Disappointed! We recently bought a CPO Subaru Outback XT 2020 from Capital Subaru, Greensboro, and within the first month started having trouble with the software - screen blanking out and freezing randomly. Sirius radio, maps, phone etc was freezing too! We were also informed that there was a recall on this vehicle - something to do with a transmission chain, and they would not have the parts until May! This affects our starlink subscription as well! All this on a car we had just bought and the salesman had assured us was a great car. It is disappointing that Capital Subaru was so quick to sell us this car knowing that there were issues that existed. Based on this experience I would be skeptical about purchasing a car from this dealership again.

Their objective is simply to procure the best price possible. They like the haggling, and they do it well. 2,000 market adjustment - this means price gouging. Competing dealers in the triad do not do this. Folks, do your homework. Transparency - or lack thereof. When I politely and repeatedly asked that certain items on the proposed deal be addressed, I repeatedly got the runaround. In fact, I never got a clear answer. What I did get was a slightly lower out-the-door price on a less desirable vehicle. That’s comparing apples to oranges. All I desired from Capital was honesty and transparency. They failed on both accounts.

I came here in search of an Outback and did not think I wanted anything else! Rocco initially assisted me and was so nice even though he did not have what I was looking for! He gave me his card and off I went to more Subaru dealers. Later that day I test drove the Forester and fell in love with it. I came back to Capital Subaru and Rocco put me in touch with Luis as he [Rocco] was completing a delivery at that time. He was being shadowed by Grace and they were both incredibly friendly and helpful! Throughout the entire process I did not feel pressured or nervous. Luis listened to every one of my concerns and justified them appropriately. I was in the building for a longer period of time than what I expected, though this was not at the fault of the dealer. There were a lot of others out buying a car that same day. Once I got to the financing portion, it was quick, the information provided was very straight forward, and any questions or concerns I had were handled so kindly. I was terrified to complete the process of buying another car but this dealership really made me feel so much better about it. Luis, Grace, and Stephanie (financing manager) were so wonderful. I now own a Forester and could not be happier. I would recommend this dealership to others seeking a subaru.

Never trust your car to this dealership. I would rate this dealership at the same level as a used car dealership like Byrider or worse. Save your time money and peace of mind and go elsewhere. ** To respond to your comment I tried to call and could not get through to the service manager. I was told the service manager will contact me and it is weeks after the bad service and I still have not been contacted. It's easy to write a half backed reply to a comment but not follow through with anything again avoid this dealership at all cost.

They had plastic partitions in the customer service check out area. Every area inside the vehicle touched by a service mechanic was covered with plastic...seat, steering wheel, key.
Advanced Auto Parts does a free code reading. Not sure if Capital Subaru does the same.
