After both of my parents had falls, went to Lahey Clinic, then rehab, I had a tight window to transition my parents from rehab to an Assisted Living place. Luckily, my wife and I had already pre-screened around 10 places nearby and Windsor Place of Wilmington made the initial "top three". During our final evaluation (of the top three), we liked Windsor Place of Wilmington the best for several reasons. First, they were (and still are) very flexible in making accommodations. They were willing and able to do the evaluation very quickly and provide a furnished room on very short notice. We could purchase furniture and return the borrow furniture at our pace. Furthermore, as my parents age, they can easily transition to higher levels of care, as required. You can also select levels of service you would like (e.g., help w/ medications, primary care Dr. on site, laundry, etc.). The rooms are really nice and the food is outstanding. Finally, and most important, everyone I have met there is very, very nice. It almost feels like a family atmosphere, and you can tell that all of the employees know and care about the people there. I'm so glad that we chose Windsor Place for my parents!

The moment we started looking for an assisted living situation for our mother, we knew that Windsor Place of Wilmington would be the right choice. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff that we spoke to on our initial visit seemed to be very happy to be working there. It was evident that the staff liked and cared for the residents and the residents liked the staff. Our mother was very happy at Windsor Place; she enjoyed the nightly bingo, short story book clubs and especially singing along with the music programs. She was well taken care of, her health improved and we did not have to worry about her. We were pleased with the staff. We want to recognize how much mom appreciated Linda G helping her get ready in the morning and helping her to bed at night. We are particularly grateful to Cheryl M who took great care of Mom, from the day she entered Windsor place in Oct 2018 to the day she passed in Feb 2022. We highly recommend Windsor Place of Wilmington Assisted Living.

About a year ago I wrote a review in which I highlighted the beauty of the Windsor Place facility and the many wonderful amenities and opportunities provided to residents. My mother was a resident there and called Windsor “home” for four years. She was very happy there. Since that review, my mom suffered a stroke and went from being an independent and active member of the Windsor community to requiring a higher level of assistance and care. While the details of my original review still hold true, I can now say with certainty that what sets Windsor apart from other assisted living facilities is the dedication and competence of staff; staff who consistently greet residents with a smile, treat them with dignity and respect, and care for them like members of their own families. Although my mom has recently passed, staff from all service areas continue to reach out to offer support to our family. They are truly remarkable people who are passionate about caring for others. My family and I highly recommend Windsor Place to anyone seeking a friendly, caring and family- like senior living experience for themselves or a loved one. You will not be disappointed!
