Their prices are okay. They don’t have a huge selection. A lot of their clothes agave stains and holes. I went to go sell some of my clothes. (New tags, great condition) they refused to take them. She gave me an attitude and threw my clothes at me. I saw a woman come in with her clothes after me. They took her clothes back. She didn’t give her an attitude and her vibe completely changed. She was more upbeat. I’m not sure what the difference was. (I am Latina she was white) it’s the only thing I can come up with at this point. I’m not sure how a store like this can get away with this. Also? There was trash on the floor. I asked for a manager but kept getting the run around. I have called the store for the manager. Corporate or whoever runs the show will be hearing from me!

If I could give this place 0 starts I would. I was shopping around and I really can’t find anything nice. The clothes have some type of animal hairs on them and holes on the clothing. YOU KNOW WHAT IS HILARIOUS!!! I was on my way out and this woman was trying to sell them her clothes and they looked new. Tags on them and everything. She got rejected for it. The females “cashiers” were rude and rejected her clothes and another. Funny part was two latinas got rejected for their clothes but they accepted a white girls clothing that looked dirty and had some type of cat hair on them 🤮🤮 I’m not shopping here ever again. The cashiers are racist and dusty. This happened today 05/13/2022 afternoon time 12-1pm cashiers were rude. They need to get fired.

It usually feels like a waste of time to go there but I like to try to recoup some money on brand news/hardly worn items. This time I made a special trip, decluttered and sorted for weeks and everything they didn’t take was going straight to goodwill. When I arrive I get told that it’s a 2 bag/box max. for a day! I had 2 plastic storage tubs, 1 paper grocery bag, 1 reusable bag, 1 shoe box and 1 small box of Amazon items I fell out of the return window. Not a good way to keep a customer who admittedly only comes a couple times a year but I used to use the $ and then some to update my wardrobe at platos but no more. Best way to roll out your new policy is to tell your customers, you track us, there’s no excuse not to give customers some grace.

Customer service wasn’t the best, I feel like I was being judged. Maybe even laughed at. However I did find some things that I liked and the girl who rung me out was over all nice. I look forward to going back and hopefully the staff will be coached on how important customer service is when running a business as such. The difference it makes when you foster a welcoming environment.

Yes, they sell used clothes and sometimes there are new clothes with tags never been worn
I use to work at a Plato's back in South Carolina and the owner use to check reviews once a month. If you have any questions about the selling process I could answer them. I use to be a buyer and a key holder. (So I use to open/close the store)

Hey nate, your going to have to bring them in probably. This is where you ask the public questions. I went there once my guess is it's summer and your best bet would be to hang on to them until they will give you more money. But depending on the brand and what not call them and see what they say. I may be wrong like i said i only been there once. Good luck!
Not at Plato's closet they do at the kids store though right next to Plato's closet though its called once upon a child
