Love this place and what they do. We took a Least Tern there we found on the beach treatment due to toxicity issues. They were helpful and nice in giving us directions and advice on transporting the sick sea bird to the facility. Once there we were greeted by staff who picked up the bird and provided us some education in what may be wrong with the bird and how it could have been exposed to toxic food and substances to cause this. It is great we have a facility and an organization like this to save our seabirds. Donate here when you can to help keep this operation going forever.

Great little place to visit to see a variety of rescued birds. Free to visit but they also take donations if you would like to donate for a great cause. Love to see places like these that help wildlife and great for kids.

A wonderful place that acts as both a small and an active avian hospital clean and well maintained enclosures and informative plaques make for a easy going self guided experience fun for the whole family. But they need to something about the dirty and smelly restrooms which are the only reason this review is not five stars

It's pretty cool seeing the different sea birds, the problem i had was that you can barely see the birds in some of the cages. Save Our Seabirds is a not for profit organization, and is separate from the mote aquarium, so you will have to pay an additional fee to enter. $24 for 4 people wasn't really worth it to be honest, we spend maybe about 30 minutes there and saw everything.

Please call "save our seabirds " in sarasota and see If they can come to help
The best thing to do is call save our seabirds at 94138 8 3010. They will ask for an update on what the bird is doing and ask you a few questions. If necessary, SOS would send out a rescuer. Thanks for reporting this.
Call them they can take in a bird in any state
