My husband and I went here before a concert in July and I had never been into a "bar" before. It was a super welcoming environment with a separate eating and bar area. The food is so reasonably priced and is good, too. We will go back!

In business since 1934! That's amazing. And still so tasty for a quick burger and fries. Kind staff. Quick service. Delicious cheeseburgers, single and double. Fries were overcooked and very salty but that's how it goes sometimes! Clean restaurant. The bathrooms were very clean. Mrs. Pacman and Galaga arcade games in the bar area! Great photos, sports posters, and newspaper articles all around on the walls that show the history of this historical place! And a taxidermy goat in the corner. Is that the real goat?! OMG. And the candy machines were empty. They must get a lot of visitors after Chicago Bulls games. Great visit.

The tavern is an interesting establishment. The food was good. Hopefully this review helps the next person but do NOT leave the line after ordering. It will be ready quickly. They have their own beers to give a try before walking to the arena.

Lively place, plenty of parking. 5 min walk from the UC. Burgers and fries are good. Didn't try anything else. Great pregame atmosphere and it's fun to take folks from out of town there. Everyone gets a kick out of cheezeborger, cheezeborger, cheezeborger!!!
