Always treats me right. And I am just getting into these games. Staff is beyond knowledgeable and has no problem answering my dumb questions. It’s the only place I’ll buy these games.

This shop is a wonderful homage to the brick and mortar game stores from years past. Nice activity and a full calendar of table top events posted, ranging from war games through TTRPG nights.

The Geeks of Utah do board game nights every Tuesday!! Come join us.
Hey Josh this is Tyson at Oasis. yeah lots of groups play here. Saturday Sunday and monday are the best days. Saturdays at 3 is when the dnd adventurers league takes place and they're always open to players. We also have a bulletin board for finding groups and people playing nearly daily.
Right behind the entrance there is two levels of parking with signs.
They don't accept Tibalt, only Jace. Sorry
Our new website is coming soon and that is definitely.one of the ways we are hoping to have available right away. I know its hard to browse the cards we have that are just Spanish ect. Thank you for the suggestion
With Covid-19 restrictions still in place for Salt Lake City I do not believe they have made classes or tournaments in person a thing.
Commander starts largely around 5pm and designated days are Sunday and Monday, though I've found EDH games any day of the week I've gone and often at least a small play group by 3pm
Yup! They have tons of events, from Friday Night Magic, to Drafts on the weekends and pauper, etc.
Yes there is
This seems to have been a temporary problem, I'm not certain what went wrong but it seems to be working now!
Most days, it's a really nice place to shop and play games. I go here quite often to hang out and play games with friends and I would probably place it among my favorite places. However when a major event like a pre-release for a new MTG set happens, it tends to be pretty crowded for a few days and it's hard to find parking during such events. I recommend checking the calendar on their website before going!
If you're there in the mid day hours it shouldn't be a problem, but around 7 most nights, they have events that may use up a bit of the seating.
We don't have the board game events going on right now due to the Covid restrictions but in the past and future once we come out the other side we will definitely be looking to have weekly events and playing a ton of smash up :) Cj and Josh actually just got the titans set and playmat last week and have been battling.
Absolutely. Our front door is at ground level
We have scheduled Warhammer nights on Wednesday, and wargaming tables and terrain available for use at all times in the week. Hope to see you in the store!
They have all sorts of booster pacs
Oasis buys back cards of all the singles that they sell. They might not buy packs but if there are any singles that are worth anything, they would consider buying those. Never a problem stopping by to ask.
Yea
We do carry a small selection of sealed Yu-Gi-Oh product!
The best place to go for that answer is with the store staff. We found them to be very helpful and nice.
Do you guys buy Pokémon cards?
I am unsure about individuals as a MTG player primarily, but I have seen some packs and bundles of YuGiOh there. Hope that helps some!
Yes. I'm pretty sure of it.
We do drafts on Tuesday and Friday nights at 7PM. Check out our full events calendar at oasisgamesslc.com for more info on all of the events we run!
No, but they do know of the other shops that do in the area.
There is sadly not. But if interest is shown they will make it happen a they have done for star wars x - wing
They do not.
Outlets are far and few between for now. The private rooms have the most outlets and can be rented for $5 an hour if you call ahead. Google fiber Wifi is on the house but a purchase is always appreciated. If you take up space all day without so much as a soda they might ask you to move on. In the evenings the tables are mostly full of boardgames. But you'll find a peaceful atmosphere before 4. Gamers of all mediums are welcome but yes, mostly geared toward tabletop games and magic the gathering.
I believe there is a special request or note field you can enter that request into when submitting your order.
