There's a liquor store at assembly row. Down the alley behind the CVS. Inside the puma headquarters building or underneath it. It's a real life old school Somerville packie and you should go there.

I don't buy a lot of alcohol but I've been here a few times over the years. Nice prices and nice employees. Honestly though, the coolest thing about this place is the sign. It's a beloved landmark. But lately, no one has been updating the sign. It has said something like "my gf left me for a $" for a really long time. Sav-Mor, if you read this, please please please bring back the awesome signs. They make my day.

Solid selection in an weird location, but still easily accessible from public transit and it has a parking lot for those who like to drive. The staff are also enjoyable people who seem pretty down to earth. I can usually count on this location having what I am looking for, regardless of what I originally came in for. I can count on walking to the refrigerators in the back and finding a new beer or cider that I might enjoy. They have a really large selection and it rotates out from time to time, so we haven't had much of a problem finding something to drink. They also have aisles upon aisles of wine and spirits, if that's your thing. (Previously I accidentally put this as 3 stars because I selected the wrong location)
