I can’t say enough good things about Jack! I brought him my ‘66 super reverb with a microphonic tube and some cheap replacement capacitors and he gave it back to me sounding like Peter Green’s on the “live at Boston” album. What a kind, skilled, professional guy. I’d never bring an amp to anyone else. Thank you Jack.

Simply put, Jack knows his stuff. He has a deep knowledge of everything audio and has been in the business long enough to share some incredible stories. Jack fixed my vintage Fender amp that had been modded by a previous owner. He was able to revert it to stock and now it's ready to sing for another 40 years. Would highly recommend.

Jack provides the highest quality work in a professional and honest manner. He is fully experienced and knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose and correct complicated issues in two amps I brought in for service. Good communication throughout the process. Reasonable prices for repairs. Thank you, Jack!

Drove 2 hours to Austin to give Jack my 1972 Peavey Vintage 2x12 for some input issues and some much needed cleaning/maintenance. I dropped it off right before the winter holidays and Jack was super backed up so it took a while to get fixed but when I told him I was coming back into town in a few days he hopped right on it and finished it up. It sounds better than ever and the cost of the repair matched with the quality work that had obviously been done was unmatched in my experience with audio repair. He might take a while, but I recommend Audiotech Austin to anyone needing serious work done on any sort of vintage (or modern) amplification.

Questions & Answers

Hi, Can you help me fix the battery issue for B&O BEOLIT15 Wireless Speaker? I cannot charge the wireless speaker, even changing a new battery cannot help. So I guess there’s something more complex need to be fixed inside. Thanks!

Sorry no. That stuff is basically disposable.

Do you charge to look at a mixer?

Sorry, But we do not due free estimates on anything. We specialize in the service and repair of vintage tube amplifiers and audiophile grade home stereo equipment. Unless your mixer is large studio quality, it may not be worth $75 per hour bench time to service. Good Luck and Best Wishes. Jack

Are you guys familiar with a MX842 Carvin powered mixer? Suspect a problem with monitor out and/or carvin moitor.

No we do not work on powered mixers. We specialize in vintage tube gear and high end audiophile equipment.
