Fantastic! Gate person and equipment operator were both super helpful...and just before closing before Thanksgiving.

Love the Dump!! $2 per bag and the recycling center means it costs us about $6 per month to get rid of our household trash. the only downside is that there is not much in the way of "picking" allowed. it would be nice to have an area where stuff with some life left could be left for the next person.

It is easy doing the recycling, plastic and bottles goes together, paper and cereals boxes and soda boxes etc goes together

recycling is free and you don't needs to sort your plastics, glass, and metal which is a luxury. I really wish they'd pave the road up the hill though. be sure to show up on time because the gates always close exactly at closing time.

.40 cents per pound, checks only.
They take roofing shingles and wood shingles.
Look online for people that take junk metal, you can get rid of them for free
Something like that might around 10.00 to 20.00 dollars
Yes, they are exceptable. Not sure what they will charge you. Probably have to drive on the scales ⚖.
Checks or you can go to city hall and get a punch card but no debit/credit and no cash
It 2 dollars a bag or you can use the scale they have . I usually have 2 BIG blue bags they charge me 8 dollars every 2 weeks , it alot better then paying 60 dollars a month for some one one picking it up .
The transfer station has has a just waste drop off days twice a month, usually a Wednesday and a Saturday. If you are from Keene and certain surrounding towns it is free. You can find the info on the transfer station part of the Keene City website
No, any trash bag is okay. Under 33 gallon is $2 a bag. Over that is $4. We only take checks 👍
Yes you can. No charge
Yes, you will need to pay the standard fee.
$2.00 each
Sorry...I thought I had written "swap" shop...where clothes and stuff are brought. Then I saw the article on it's closing in 2012! Lol
You probably will end up paying but not much
Not true Todd. Only #1 and #2 plastic. No bigger than 2.5 gallons.
You can write a check for a punch card. 40.00 bucks. I am guessing a recliner will be 8.00 to 10.00 bucka.
I've seen gas grills there. There is a separate spot to get rid of the tanks.
.10 cents per pound, if the housing is plastic. If the housing is metal, it's free!
Yes, for .6 cents a pound, checks only.
