UPS Customer Center

Ups stores are not ups. They are a individually owned franchise. They have contracts with companies to return packages to companies. If you are told to take your package to a UPS STORE to print a label from a scan code or a free return you must take it to the UPS STORE to use that service. You can still ship your package at UPS but you will have to pay for it. There is only one true UPS for Desmoines and surrounding areas it is the location on Hull. If you were trying to ship a package on Saturday, It is clearly marked UPS is only opened for pick up on Saturdays 10am -1pm. ( This is fairly new. Prior UPS was only open M-F. The UPS STORE will accept packages on Saturday but you will pay a higher price to ship at a UPS STORE than you will pay at UPS itself. Also unless you are shipping Next day air, (must be before 1:30pm) your package will not move from that UPS STORE untill Monday. Only next day packages are serviced on Saturday.

No they are not open on Sundays Was that so hard for ups to answer private chat my butt do your job ups, your supposed to be better than USPS but you both suck, use FedEx they like the business these people dont

I dropped off a package couple weeks ago about 1:30 p.m. they were open

You have to call the 800# to have them held. The earlier the better. You maybe able to get it back much earlier than the normal. 7-730 pm. Next day air packages get priority. Make sure you get a live person on the phone. Tell them I want same day will call. Someone local will call you back in roughly an hour. Make sure and tell them. ( the local person that calls back) you would like to pick up asap. Or ask if I can meet the driver? ( if that's an option for you.)

No if you go to customer counter and show them your i.d. and give them your address they might be able to find a tracking

Yes u need your account # and ask for a asd. ( for what ever service you need ie ground next day) you fill it out there. You can not pay for packaging materials or boxes via your account number.

Call the UPS office every package has a tracking number have that ready. You can go there today in person .They close at 12noon
