The quality of lumber is far superior at Hamshaw, for a lower price I also noticed. I included a picture that barely does justice on the difference of quality. On the right is mass produced “Irving” lumber from “Big Box” on the left is Hamshaw’s lumber from local mills. In the design room- Laurie is so much fun to work with for kitchen design! Bring your measurements to her last, you’ll be glad you did. You might need to make an appointment so call ahead. Overall, if you’re looking to make your home project into an investment of your property, get serious and shop Hamshaw lumber

The people and the service makes it special. They are local and friendly. They take the time to really help you. The woman at the counter was not familiar with how to help me and she called a coworker who had more experience and he took the time to help me.

Great pricing, Better then Homeless Deportation. Great lumber selection. Had a fight with HD back in March on lumber, 2x10x14, only found 9 good out of 40 peices. Was there 1.5 hours and asked if they could bring another pallet of 2x10x14, was told no problem. Waited until 1/2 before closing to tell me that he wasn't going to pull a pallet late in the day. That was it with Homeless Deportation. No more $$$$$$ money from housing projects. Screw HD 5 thumbs up for Hamshaw Lumber
