Growing up with little to nothing, we never went hungry thanks to charities like the community kitchen. Thank you.

The Thanksgiving holiday help was great. There was butter, flour, turkey, string beans, and other things. Unfortunately this week was inedible rotten veggies and fruit, food from Hannaford that was hot then frozen when it expired, bread from Hannaford that was expired a month ago and frozen, old expired brown meat. It's sad really what's happening in this country. The disabled, elderly, homeless, addicted, etc need help and get a bag of moldy onions to eat. The volunteers are great and working with what they have but the community, the food stores, the government - they can do better. They just don't care. Very very sad indeed. I don't know what else to say.

People are alright. alright food better than no food at all. this place really means a lot they can never shut it down im glad they are not open on the weekends. Almost better than my moms cooking but never tell her that :P donating money would help more for the community and for better hot food meals. I try to donate but its hard without no job better than anyother soup kitchen ive been to And ive been to a lot. Keep it up! Thanks to all the volunteers who help serve food to the people who are in need of hunger open 5 pm to 6:30pm Monday threw Friday.

You don't need anything to eat at the community dinners week nights at 5pm. For the food pantry you need proof of residence for each person in your household (kind of annoying having top price residence for kids, but can easily be done with a letter from welfare or a mailed birthday card addressed to your child) Proof of income and proof of any welfare help you might recieve like food stamps or Medicaid. It's ok if you don't have all the proofs the first time you go. They will usually allow you to use their services and give you a list of what proofs you still need to bring in.
Yes you can drop it of there.
M-f 5 to 6 and Sunday 11-12
No pantry this week, not until jan.2nd & 3rd(thur- 12:30 - 5:30, fri- 11:00 - 4:00)
Rose They have a schedule that they adhere to to keep the volunteers knowing when they can come in and do their work. They have to stick to that. And of course it's hard to get Volunteers in the chaos of the holidays whoever I have extra food for you if you need some give me a call 415-964-6584
Not sure, but you have to meet income guidelines and can't go to any other food pantry. There is paperwork to fill out, proof of income, proof of residence, etc. Has to be renewed yearly.
You don't need them today but you will have to come back with them as soon as you can.
