This was my first time trying on dresses. I heard Marry and Tux had a great selection of plus size dresses and it was true. I was super nervous at first because being plus size options are limited and it can be very uncomfortable. But, I have truly never had a better experience. Katy helped me out and she was so sweet and helpful!! She made me feel super comfortable and at ease the whole time. It was the best day ever… next to my wedding day of course! But, definitely go there! They are the best and incredibly welcoming. I’m Just so happy I found something that makes me feel like a princess! <3

From the second I walked in, I was welcomed warmly and everyone was so sweet. My consultant really listened to what I wanted and I got to touch and see many different dresses before trying them on. She had her full attention on me and really worked hard to see my vision. I found the perfect dress and she found the perfect hair accessories and veil for it. She truly made me feel beautiful before trying on and was a real hype up gal! I loved the experience and will be back to get bridesmaids dresses from them. The prices were so reasonable with many many options and sizes to try!

I have mixed feelings about this place. I visited at least 10 wedding shops and could not find a dress I liked. I came here on my first visit with a list of dresses I wanted to try, they obliged me but I still didn't like the ones I picked. Stephanie asked me to come back and let her try. I came back another day and tried on her picks. I didn't like the picture, but she said to just try it. Low and behold, I loved it! She knows her stuff and did something no one else could do including me, which is find my dress. What I wasn't happy with is I was told if I ordered that day they would give me a discount. I hate these proposals, of now or never, but I knew I liked the dress so I ordered. I found out afterward 2 other stores within the same 2 hour drive had it for a good amount less. I asked them if they could match but they said no. They said it was because they had higher tax. There was nothing I could do about it by then. I was told when I ordered part of my dress would come separate so the seamstress could adjust to my height but my dress did not come that way. I called again and was told that it is something some dresses come with for an extra charge. I don't know why they didn't let me know it wasn't ordered that way after all. The dress was over what I wanted to spend but I should have been given the choice. It could have been easier for the seamstress and she wouldn't have had to cut the bottom of my dress. They took my measurements and ordered my size. I remember them saying i was in between sizes but i was told i would be fine in the smaller size. The dress is too small. I fit in it but I have to shallow breathe and eating/sitting would be hard. The seamstress had to find a clever way to loosen it up.

Purchasing my wedding dress was probably the best part of wedding planning. I was interested in a few dresses from Morilee by Madeline Gardner and I was pumped to find that Marry & Tux carried her line. Especially being plus size i was nervous about not having options, but I felt very well taken care of and lots to look at! I made an appointment for my mom and I to come in. We were paired with Kate who we absolutely adored! She was so patient and honest when trying on different styles. I ended up purchasing my dress that day and came back later to purchase my veil. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Not to mention how amazing my dress was that I'm still obsessed with!!!
