Every Lowe’s store in the entire Capital District of NYS has few employees. t Lowe’s ripped us off for a large monetary expense not delivering fencing we paid for. When we called the store and followed up in person with our receipt in hand, the manager and corporation passed the buck back-and-forth between each other failing to address where the Fencing was. They couldn’t even find their copy of receipt. We called constantly with no corrective action or accountability. Then it went into the next yr, and they said it was too late for a refund. We are taking legal action with the Attorney General and reporting to Better Business Bureau. Fraud, theft of services. Since that time, we give all our business to Home Depot. We suggest you avoid this store and support other local stores as well.

It was well stocked, friendly staff, some nice decor items, and open an hour later than Home Depot. But I can say across the board everything from shims to spray paint was consistently higher prices than Home Depot and Walmart. Their stock of spray paint was awful, not one can of flat white? Is this America? Smart Home products are severely lacking as well as trained staff when I was looking for a motion detector. (But likely the same knowledge level you will find at most anywhere) ... The thing that irked me and makes the star level so low is 2 items I bought were completely mislabeled in their price - 4 tiny wood appliques in the clearance section were labeled 39 cents came out to be $6.99 and a drop cloth with MANY price labels under $10 (which was the only reason I picked it up) turned out to be like $24, so my bill was twice what I thought it would be. When I saw this I said "wait, this isn't right, these are labeled ..." And in target they would either fix the price right at the register or take it off the bill and let you leave without purchase. I had to go to customer service and process a return. They do have some beautiful stuff, it is pleasant inside, but I think they could work on that checkout process. Maybe allow people to return things at the register if they labeled the price incorrectly (or the "bulk price" was the only price I saw because it was grossly overwhelmed with the bulk price) maybe it was just a tired cashier.... Tired of dealing with people who mistake the bulk price for the actual price prolly hah

I enjoy this store and many of the staff that work here as they are friendly and helpful. However, my wife and I had a very negative experience today with Mike P. in the appliance department. We stopped by in the morning before an appointment to look at appliances we were considering for a reno. Mike informed us there was a promo ending today 3/2/22) as well as “20% off orders for new Lowes credit card customers”. His exact words, important later. We had to run to an appointment, but stopped by in the afternoon to purchase because of the great deal he told us about. He had already punched out to lunch, but insisted on running my credit app instead of the employee covering for him, I’m assuming for the $50 employee bonus for opening new customer credit lines. He then left after I was approved. The man (Anthony) helping us from then on was great. He had most of our order prepared when Mike returned and ushered Anthony away so he could take control of our order again. He had totaled everything up, but the discounts didn’t seem to add up like they should have based on the promotions he said applied. Come to find out he withheld information about the Lowes credit card, and that it only deducted up to $100. We had planned to buy nearly $3000 of appliances, so to think we were getting 20% off seemed great. He did a terrible job explaining this to the point where he was insulting our understanding of math and how credit card payments work. He was demeaning and condescending as he tried to backpedal out of the lies he told us earlier. At the end, we told him to cancel the order and we walked out with a useless line of Lowes credit opened and nothing to show for it because he blatantly withheld information to get us to open a credit card. We informed the store manager, Ryan, about this behavior who was receptive and assured us the situation would be addressed. Do not do business with Mike P. In the appliance department at the Saratoga Lowes. He is deceitful and will not treat you with respect.

Good customer service, expected product selection. Store is in great operating standards with the current times during the pandemic. Sanitizing stations are at the entrance and exit. Solid 4 stars. Only issue is the flood of traffic which is absolutely expected with this Lowes being the only one for quite some miles.
