Great park, great camping sites, full hookup (water, electric, sewer). The area we were in had individual bathrooms which were nice. Shower water was nice and hot. Well maintained overall. Green water is really cool, however, limited swimming area to maintain lake. Would recommend!

We went on hiking in this park at the beginning of May which I think was a great time because it was not too hot and not too cold. I recommend to wear sunscreen. The lakes are just beautiful, beautiful and beautiful. For anyone interested in how the different layers of the lakes are formed, they have standing signs that tell the story and the different species of plants I think. They also have a beach for families to hangout and a lot of places for bbq.

Great place to take the kids for a day at the park and swimming at the lake. Many trails around the state park but we like the walk around the main lake and the back lake which is about 3 miles approx. Rowboat and kayak rentals, picnic tables in sun and shaded areas, playground for kids, dog friendly, swimming areas with lifeguards during park opening after memorial day, restrooms with changing areas, small food stand. Camping areas by reservation. Very beautiful park.

Went here for a company picnic and golf. I am by no means a golfer, but the place was beautiful. The scenery was breathtaking and the course was immaculate. I quite enjoyed the time spent there and would gladly go back! Picnic area was spacious and the facilities were very well kept. Tons of walking paths and lots of area to explore. Definitely would recommend for a larger group looking for a variety of activity options. We brought in Dinosaur BBQ catering, which was perfection as always.

There is pretty decent reception for AT&T and Verizon in MOST of the park. There is currently only WiFi available at the Golf Course Clubhouse, but we hope to have more WiFi in years to come. (Not so great internet for us to provide good WiFi, but we're working on it)
You can not bring your own kayak or paddle boards in you have to rent theirs as this lake is uncontaminated by any invasive species and that's how they keep it that way
If you are close by or in driving distance to the park there is no need to stay overnight. The park is open to all, not only to campers.
