I have been taking my dogs to Life of Riley for a few years now, and always loved their services. I recommended this place to many friends and family members due to the great quality of work. This last time when I tried to make an appointment, they had availability at 9AM and due to my work schedule I asked if it would be okay to drop them off a little bit earlier between 7:30-8:00AM. They told me that there is an extra charge for day care for dropping them off 1hour prior to their appointment! In the past they have been more understanding of situations like this, but I guess this shows that it is mostly about the money now, and not much consideration about the client or customer experience. Although Life of Riley's prices are more on the higher end, I always felt comfortable with it considering their quality of work and customer support. After today's disappointing experience that no longer stands true.

The staff is terrific, very sensitive to my dog’s needs and extremely careful and detail oriented. They are service oriented from the minute you walk in the door to when you pick up your loved-one. They are also willing to work with you so that you can be 100% satisfied!

If you own a Pomeranian, you would know how hard it is to find a groomer that knows how to groom a Pomeranian, to be fair, it’s not easy like grooming other breeds, even a tiny mess up would look disastrous. So after trying many groomers and spending money on ridiculous haircuts I finally found the best groomer for my Pom, her name is Brittany and she works at the Life Of Riley in Rockville. She is amazing, she knows how to groom Poms and she herself owns a cute little Pom puppy.
