I switched to Caring Hands Animal Hospital because the clinic is open 6 days a week and can handle all kinds of emergencies. I like the fact that there are more than 1 vet on staff and all are great. I have 3 cats and a dog and all are well cared for at Caring Hands. The fact that they will not turn away an emergency is awesome. I have taken an injured animal there and was able to get in and have him sticked up on short notice.

At 17, Nana has been as much a part of our world as any human family member. She has faced multiple health problems as she moved deeper into her twilight years, and we were very lucky to have met knowledgeable Dr. Reynolds and the compassionate team at the Caring Hands Hospital in Rockville help us navigate through this challenging time. The staff seem to genuinely love and care for the animals. Nana was treated with respect, and whatever questions we had about her care, the doctor and the staff got back to us promptly which we really appreciated. They were clear regarding cost, treatment, and there were no surprises. They were kind with follow-up calls. Thank you all for your kindness and compassion in making Nana’s last days comfortable, and treating her with dignity and respect.

My wife and I found this place to be very nice before COvid. Now they are cold and unfriendly. We brought our cat for a health concern and they told us only one person is allowed inside. Literally leaving me out in the cold. Luckily Bray and Scraf was open and let me in from the cold. No words can express how disappointed and disgusted I am with UNcaring Hands. We don’t recommend them and sadly I suggested to one of my doctor friends to come here prior to this nasty and cold attitude this vet has.

We've been taking our dog, Gadget here since the day we got her. They have always been personally, and great with our dog. We really appreciate the time they take during there exams, that they call to checkup on our dog on the days after an exam when she is sick, that they even write what types of treats she likes to help her cooperate during the exams. Their prices have also been reasonable, and we definitely recommend them/plan on using them for the foreseeable future.

We do not; we usually refer to Maryland Avian and Exotic Care.
Hello! Pet insurance is unlike human insrance where care providers take certain insurance policies. The pet parent will pay the animal hospital directly and submit for reimbursement with their pet insurance. We can provide any documentation needed for the claim. You can find more information about pet insurance here: https://caringhandsvet.com/pet-insurance-information/
