This is a “no-frills”, last stop for someone who is desperate to make it to tomorrow. If you want sobriety, are out options and are willing to go to any lengths to get it, Turning Point might work for you. Your success rate is equivalent to the amount of effort you are willing to expend and your ability to follow instructions.

The staff are stealing from the homeless people there. From the food down to the clothes. If someone knows some place that i could report them to to please give me some insight on this matter, because they need to be held accountable for their actions.

Life changing, if you are willing. If you are ready, your life can improve. The staff is a blessing, good food, snacks and this is a safe and sober place to stay. It's a refuge for homeless and if you're willing God will meet you there and change your life. If you are ready this is the Turning Point in your life. Thank you.

Turning Point is the type of facility you go to when you can't get into any other facility. It is overcrowded. Counseling is virtually nonexistent. The facility itself is not adequate. The food is inadequate. The staff is marginally trained. Consequently, I do not recommend this place. However, if you can't get into a quality facility, go there and work the program. It will help you!

This is a 30 day program. For two weeks you can not leave the ground but after 2 weeks you can leave on day passes to look for a job. The staff there are great and will help in anyway they can. They have clothing to help with job searches or if you're just in need of clean clothes. They have meeting all day and after your two weeks you can also leave for outside meetings, there are a few great one not far away on Centeral. If you have questions that aren't being answered just give them a call, they will give you all the info you ask for. If you or your loved one has a problem and really want to change then don't wait just call this place and people there are great but you have to be willing to put in the work. Good luck.
Can me and fiaancecomeas acouple
Yes they do. You stay there for 30 days then you will transition to another facility with availability.
I think they have an outside smoking area
Please go to meetings when ever you are not working. Pinellas county has 700 AA meetings and 400 NA meetings. There are many meeting club houses that have meetings several times a day.
I think they are Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and Sunday at 5:00 p.m. but I would call there to make sure They won't tell you whether the person's there or not but they will tell you visiting hours
I would suggest not letting them know you are a couple, they don't like couples in there. After a few days on mats they give you a room with a few other people, men with men and women with women.
I think you can only visit on weekends I'm guessing the times or two to 3:00 p.m. but you can call to make sure. they will not tell you if the person is still there or not you'll have to go there and see
Yes, on visiting days/hours.
Yes, they accept males and females.
Just go there a ring the bell around noon. If they ask tell them you have been drinking. It is a requirement to be high or drunk. If there is room they will bring u in around 4pm. First come basis
Everyday 3-4 is best
It's recommended to tell them that you have recently used they don't really want to take anybody who is already better. other than that to show up at like 2:00 in the afternoon and wait your turn and they will get you in
Are you still looking to get your son in treatment? I am an intervention specialist who can help. Kevin Bushnell Text 620 704 5443
No, sorry. Go to operation PAR. Turning point had Narcam as an emergency for opiods but if you have serious alcohol withdrawals, this is not the place
It is free. You just show up, ring the bell and they will give you a spot for 30 days.
Visiting hours are 3-5 PM Sunday and 5-7 on Saturday. First name last initial. Who are you visiting?
I believe so, call them to be certain. They are a bizarre bunch who will mistreat people or break the law in a New York minute!
Yes they treat veterans. But it is not a medical detox. If a person needs medication for detox, they need to go to Operation PAR Highpoint or one of the medical detoxes in Tampa.
Turning Point is not the place for him. He needs a long term opiate addiction treatment program.
u
It helps all who want to get clean from any type of problem related to pills alcohol Etc
Call them to find out.
