Love this place! You will know you are in an unique place when you hit the parking lot. Once inside you will see a family owned shop with fishing, kayaking, diving, skiing, and a gun range all under one roof. The employees are very nice and helpful! I drive an hour on a regular basis to get to Bill Jackson's. Cool place!

My wife and I Loved Bill Jackson's! What an amazing place full of awesome supplies and items, and SUPER KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY STAFF! Mike, AKA "GEN ONE" broke down the history behind the family owned business which made our visit even more enjoyable! What a cool and great place to shop! Go see for yourself! I promise you will Not be disappointed!

Great gun shop! Good selection of items and staff are all friendly. Russ installed new irons sights and a Trijicon RMR on my Glock 19, his work was quick and professional.

This past Tuesday 4-5-22 I visited Bill Jackson for the first time to use their shooting range. From the minute I walked in I felt SPECIAL. The front desk person was very nice and brought me over to the shooting range. I was quite nervous because it has been almost 50 years since I fired a pistol. I met a very nice man named Ross who guided me every step of the way and answered all my questions. He was super. The range itself was perfect. Six lanes very clean and well kept with the utmost in safety!!! If you want the perfect place to shoot and FIND EVERY POSSIBLE thing for outdoor entertainment 👍👍👍

Yep, and they are ablle to explain how each will work with the style of caming you want to do.
Sorry. We do not.
Just mask up look for the great deals on ammo!!
Thanks so much Jim we will be stopping by this week :)
Sorry. We do not, but do carry a variety of lures. Although we do carry bait casting rods, we are mostly a Fly Fishing Shop. We do have casting nets for you to catch your own bait.
Usually first weekend in June. The past couple years the sale has lasted all month due to the pandemic to avoid crowds.
WalMart,or urban core in Tampa but not here. U need a valid gun permit for them over. Bb gun level 👍
Our range is open Monday-Friday 10 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday 9:30 am to 5:30 pm and Sunday 10 am to 4:30 pm. See this link for more information. https://www.billjacksons.com/departments/gun-shop/gun-range-information-and-rates/
A concealed carry permit costs $97 for initial application and $55 for renewal. Total cost would also include fingerprinting which varies, and gun safety class which also varies ($125 at Bill Jackson's).
I believe they do limited gunsmith work. Best thing is to call. The service there is excellent
Madinah is correct, but there is something that hasn't been announced officially. June 7th will be the first day we'll be open on Sundays again. The hours will be 10 am to 5 pm. Look for hours to expand June 1st.
You can rent guns and headsets, glasses and pay for ammo.
Yes, this place is a fisherman's heaven!
I think they do. Maybe check out the website.
They have an excellent indoor range. An excellent place to learn gun safety.
Bill Jackson's is great, but for rod repair I'd suggest Betts Fishing Center in Largo.
Yes they do. In their website ➡️ Recurve bow: Another traditional bow, the recurve is shorter than the longbow and has an outward curve at the ends that allows the bow to store more energy when it is drawn back. These are also used for target and competition shooting. but have been used for hunting. You can fine out more in the archery section of their website https://www.billjacksons.com/departments/archery-gear/
Yes, Great place for high quality outdoor equipment.
Sorry we don't carry athletic sports oriented gear, but come to us for outdoor adventure gear and apparel.
I don't think they do. They are more of an outdoor store like Bass Pro Shop. I would look at Dick's Sporting Goods or something similar for those. I hope this helps Donna!
They do have demo's that you can try.
I know they spread them out and have some coming up. Usually 2 to 3 hours and I guess it depends on what type of kayak or paddleboard class you're looking to take could possibly change. I'd call or check out their website for class schedules under the kayaks.
Best to call to ask, this forum is for more general questions.
That's a question you would need to call the store to ask. This forum is a local guide group for more general information.
From the website I quote: "We welcome .22 through .45 caliber pistol ammunition. We also allow 22 rimfire rifles. The minimum age requirement for a 22 rimfire rifle is 14 with parental supervision" http://www.billjacksons.com/departments/gun-shop/gun-range-information-and-rates/
Not sure about that one , they do have lots of cold weather gear
No they don't I have tried to trade and they have not. Not sure if all departments are the same though so it wouldn't hurt to call.
Not sure. I know they have them. Call them for clarification.
Indoors with shooter controlled target retrieval. No waiting for a R.O. call for a "cold"
Actually I worked there for a number of years. All kinds of animals are welcome as long as they are under control, well behaved and the owner cleans up after them. This includes dogs, flying squirrels, birds and many others. The cashier usually has a treat under the counter.
