Wonderful front country camping! We enjoyed the seclusion and condition of this site. There’s no cell service which can help force you to focus on camping. The staff were super friendly, even the ranger that came around to our site to improve our bear knowledge. All the campsites and facilities (bathrooms, showers, dishwashing sink, etc.) were in great shape. Each campsite includes a fire pit/outdoor fireplace with a grill. There’s a picnic table too. Some of the sites are more secluded than others. We were by the restroom building and could certainly see fellow campers, but we still felt like we were spaced out enough to have our own private space. You can buy bundles of firewood at the main entrance during staffed hours.

Loved this campground so much! Very well maintained, exceptional bathrooms/showers, and friendly staff. No cell service but that’s not a bad thing to not have for a few days. Great location, beautiful scenery, and easy drive to enjoy some great hikes in the Catskills!!! Highly recommend! This campground is mostly geared towards tent camping. We did stay here in our RV but had to run the generator because there weren’t hook ups. They did have a dump station that we used on our way out and we were able to hookup a hose for water.

Great camping location with modern, clean bathrooms and showers. There's a huge dog park here too. 10 minutes from Woodstock and many trails.

This is a nice, small campground. Clean and very well taken care of. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sites aren't all huge, but there enough trees that you have some privacy. Beautiful playground, unfortunately closed (along with kayak rentals) due to Covid. We enjoyed the walking trails. Showers are a little bit of a hike, easier to take the car. Only downside (which didn't affect us during the week, and has been the case at other campgrounds we've been to lately) is that a lot of bathroom stalls and showers are closed for social distancing, which means there is more likely a line or toilet paper runs out. But we'd be happy to go again.

No
I believe they allow a max of 6 people, 2 tents (or 1 camper), and 2 vehicles per site.
There is a day use fee, I'm not sure what it is but im pretty sure it's per car. You can probably look up day use fee on website. Boat rentals I believe were $12 for half day, $20 for full day. There are some easy & short hiking trails located within the park. The Nature trail is right near the day use area.
No, swimming is not allowed in the pond, and I don't think I would swim there even if swimming was allowed. But you can fish or rent kayaks / canoes.
From the website: Camping Fees: $22 per night (out of state residents surcharge additional $5 per night) Call (845) 679-7020 for more info. Website: http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/24472.html
