Beautiful park for hiking and wading in a river. I took my grandchildren who are 13 and 9 years old. Myself being in my early sixties, we decided to take the blue "handicapped accessible " trail. It was still difficult because of the terrain, tree roots and a few logs you had to climb over. It would be still difficult for someone with mobility issues or to push a stroller or wheel chair on this trail. It was still worth the climb. Just be advised if you think it would be easy if you are disabled in any way or taking small children in a stroller.

Ive been going here since I was little amd loved being able to take my little one here. Its an awesome place to hike and play in the water and climb the falls.

The park is nice but it doesn't offer more than a creek with waterfall, picnic area, and two hiking trails. The park is maintained well and is a nice place to have a family reunion or other event at the pavilion. They offer a few primitive camp sites with picnic table and fire ring. But it's not someplace you would camp for a long time. Public bathrooms include toilet and sink but no showers. This really is a fun place to visit for an afternoon or camp for a night. Once in awhile they will have a special event at the park.

Great place to hike, picnic, or relax any time of the year, with kids and dogs.

The water is low in summer , so you cant in the stream . But there should be small shallow pools by the waterfalls
According to the pamphlet a small picnic Grove with tables and grills .
Might just to make sure no one else has the pavilion.
salt springs road is an unpaved mountain road and has some good biking, but I wouldn't bike on the falls trails, it's not built for that in mind. Plus many of the trails go through ecologically fragile areas.
Yes, as long as you have the proper footwear. Some of the rocks are really slick. My 3/y.o hiked the entire thing right by my side.
Yes, but you will want to consult a map and go to the "back" side of the waterfalls. You can get a stroller to them from there
50 bucks of your a resident of pa...more of your not
