Both parks are great as long as you and your dog aren’t expecting green grass. Friendly dogs and people. There’s decent shade for everyone to share on those hot days. Plenty of places to sit down or stand.

The place is great to take your dog to socialize. There are risk as with every dog park. My dog is spayed but certain people don't neuter their dogs, and I've had two different dogs on separate times try to hump my dog. The park is great just irresponsible owners.

Me and my girlfriend take our dogs there every day. People are generally friendly, would recommend going earlier in the morning if you’re looking for better dogs/owners. Going in the afternoon can be a bit of a problem as a lot of dogs have been locked up all day so there are more fights.

We like this dog park because it’s almost always busy and is big enough for dogs to really run around. The big dog side can get a little rowdy sometimes which is good for my dog but won’t be perfect for everyone.

There is no access for dogs (or their humans) to the lake.
Yes... In fact I wouldn't recommend a dog be on leash as it will make them defensive. Other places around town include Runyon Park and Rosie's Beach in Long Beach. Though they can each be crowded on nice days
According to the banner, microchips and vaccinations every 2nd Saturday
Do NOT boop your dog. If your dog is barking or reacting because it's stressed by something, you do not want to add fuel to the fire. That only validates your dogs fear, because their owner hits them when the source of fear is around. Bring lots of treats. Give treats for non-reaction. You want slowly increase exposure to whatever it is that causes them to react (i.e. you can play youtube videos as an easy way to start). Slowly increase the exposure, rewarding non reaction. Learn your dogs "line" where crossing it causes the reaction and avoid crossing it. This might take months to see results. Also, seriously, hire a professional trainer instead of asking these questions to strangers on google maps. Also don't wait, the sooner you begin an effective treatment the better. Your dog may never like dogs, but it needs to learn to not react to them.
I called the other day and they said it will be ready the 26th! I would call tomorrow just to be sure though!
